There's one where they're not, it just doesn't show it. I wish there'd been an ending with them explicitly winning, though. But in one of the supposedly bad endings (was a good ending given the narrative, lol), since all of the stuff related to them doesn't happen, we can assume they continued with their plans and left.

I couldn't figure out how to use the items I bought. Nothing I did made them work.

Constructive criticism: I feel like this could be a fun concept, but it needs some work. For one, I think you should run it by someone who speaks English as a first language, as the many errors are jarring. Second, the lack of music and visuals makes the entire thing sort of drag on, and the lack of choices makes it more like reading scrawling text with no goal. I think you can fix it and make it more successful, but as is, it's easy to start feeling bored as you're clicking through.
